Tom P. grew up in Houston Texas and is a full time software developer. He has a 6 figure Portfolio Margin (PM) Taxable account and a 5 figure Roth IRA. He is currently up 45% in his PM account and up 10% in his Roth IRA.
Tom P. started his journey in 2010 by investing in mutual funds but felt something was missing. Tom then started to trade on his own with stock and Covered Calls. Tom then found tastylive and started to short Iron Condors ⅓ the width of the strikes but was trading too big in the beginning. Tom had a rough year with the straight up movement in 2014.
Tom found success in 2015 by changing his strategy to short Straddles and lowering his size. Tom has also become more mechanical in his trading.
